Keeping and maintaining records is required for all clients. These records are kept in written form. Your information will be protected by reasonable security safeguards against loss and theft, unauthorised access or use. Your information will never be sold or distributed unless required by law.

For supervision and training purposes and continuing professional development (CPD) anonymous case histories may be shared with other hypnotherapists or hypnotherapy publications. Anonymous means your personal details are removed and no information that might identify you is used.

Your confidentiality will be respected at all times except if:

• You reveal you intend to harm yourself or another person
• You reveal that a child is being abused or is in danger of abuse
• We are compelled to reveal information by a court order

Treatment with respect to under 18s:

Parental consent is required before commencement of treatment.

The parent will be required to sit in the therapy room or wait just outside.

The initial consultation will be solely with the parent.

A consent form will need to be signed by the parent and child.
